Join us at the Valley Film Festival for, Hear Us Roar: Elevating Women’s Voices and Stories in the Entertainment Industry panel and workshop on August 6 at 2 PM PT at the Hennessy Studio in North Hollywood, adjacent to the Laemmle NoHo7 theater where films will be screened. A day focused on women film makers, the panel event will feature inspiring female filmmakers and industry leaders.
Act Local will host the panel and is partnering with LA nonprofits Valley Healthcare and Girls Inc. to encourage local activism and collaboration. The Earth Angel Sustainable Set Services will be on hand with information on how to run an eco-friendly movie or television set. It promises to be a day of empowerment and celebration of the incredible contributions of women in the film and entertainment industry, and to support the movement towards greater representation and equality in the future.
